3 things I’d NEVER do as a dermatologist 👀👇

🚫 Barefoot outside — plantar warts can be painful, stubborn, and notoriously difficult to treat.

🚫 Tech-neck scrolling. — repeated neck creasing can contribute to horizontal “tech” neck lines over time.

🚫 Skipping SPF on cloudy days. — UVA rays penetrate clouds and can worsen pigmentation and photoaging.

3 things I wouldn’t do as a dermatologist 👀

❌ Go to bed with wet hair — prolonged wetness can weaken the hair shaft and increase breakage.
❌ Skip sun protection in the car — UVA passes through most car windows, so your skin is still getting UV damage.
❌ Let a wound “air out” — wounds heal better in a moist, protected environment, which supports new skin-cell growth, prevents the wound from drying into a thick scab, and can promote faster, better-quality healing.
