With well preparation coming to this race, i set a high target for myself. However things didn’t go as planned. Pouring rain before the race turned the trail into a muddy playground.

Despite only slept for 2hrs and the exhausting downhill section, i already felt jelly leg within the 1st 15km. Shoutout to @jai_hashim_ for pacing me to Lagong AS@21km when my mental bonk and started to walk.

After fueling up at Lagong AS, I started pushing the pace from Pana Kati to Kanching. This was the section where I witnessed a lot of runners zombie-walking 😂, and I started to overtaking ppl from there.

My fueling was on point this time but however the pain under my feet started to slow me down in the final 15km. I ended up finishing the race with blisters on both feet.

The trail was really tough and technical. The muddy ground made it even more challenging. Considering the 20% DNF rate, i’m glad i was able to finished the race without injury.

Last but not least, shoutout to team @traildesgombak for doing an amazing job with the marking and directions. I’ll definitely come back next year for revenge.

What started as a solo adventure turned into an unforgettable journey.

Even though the monsoon season arrived earlier than expected, I was lucky enough to enjoy clear skies almost every morning — especially on the way from MBC to ABC, along with breathtaking views of the Annapurna South, Annapurna I, and Machhapuchhre, the iconic fishtail.

It has been amazing over the past 2 weeks — the wonderful people I met, the incredible food, and the unforgettable atmosphere.
