In my eyes my wife is true Royalty and I’ll always treat her like a Queen! It’s a blessing to be together 28 years and married 25. My Wendy blessed me with 2 wonderful children, the angels of my life, Delano and Dior and I will always be eternally grateful! For her 60th Birthday/25th Anniversary surprise celebration, I had to be creative, loving and intimate. Secrecy was imperative!

When you want to show your love to your Queen, you rent out an entire loft just for her, you have her favorite 5 course Italian gourmet dinner prepared for her and waiter served to her like royalty, you have to include her favorite appetizers, you only invite the immediate family to enhance the intimacy, you set the dinner table with the finest china and garnish it with beautiful rose pedals, you have pink and green flowers in the centerpiece in honor of her sorority, you hire a professional harpest to serenade her, you have the harpest play “ These three words” when she enters and “If I ain’t got you”, you line the floor with rose pedals and beautiful candles showing your romantic love for her, you decorate the room with wonderful photographs and framed posters from our wedding, you garnish the serving table with an Italian theme in honor our next destination vacation and you secretly have her children arrive, who live far away in another state.

Then you spend time with your loving family and share with her nothing but love, care, honor and respect! You remind her over, and over, and over of all the wonderful caring things she’s done that makes her oh so very special in your eyes! Your actions show selflessness, even though our birthdays are actually 2 days apart, you focus humbly and honorably is on the Queen, simply because she is so, so, so very deserving. You graciously remind her “it’s all about her and she’s the love of our lives”.

Your actions subtly let her know you still have that “romance game” after 28 yrs. You see her tears of joy and smiles and you thank God, for allowing yourself to be so blessed to have such a gift from God in your life.
