Good morning, if you care... My pregnant wife is suffering from a severe calcium deficiency and needs the treatment listed here. I hope my friends can help. 🙏🙏 https://www.gofundme.com/f/av9j5-helping-akrams-family-escape-the-genocide-in-gaza #gaza by @dertraductor

Herbst kann so schön sein! Fahrradausflug mit @wilhelm_werthern . Das ist auch Berlin! ❤️ by @dertraductor

🇵🇸 by @dertraductor

@eliferalp wir haben Fragen.🇵🇸 by @dertraductor

Herbst Gorki!
Link in Bio. Bitte spendet, wenn ihr könnt. Alles hilft.
Free Palestine 🇵🇸 by @dertraductor

Last night we attended the German premiere screening of Dan Rugo’s amazing documentary Life Support. The first thing striking about the film is the sound: like Naza, the acoustic level is essential to the film. And juxtaposing the two films says so much: the quiet sounds of normal everyday modern urban life as the backdrop to tales told by the perpetrators of a genocide on the one hand, here: the everyday horror of the past three years in Gaza: screams, bombs, drones, but all heard in the cinema with a corporeal intensity. And this is of course true on the visual level as well: we are virtually overwhelmed by the same videos many of us (but far too few of us) have seen on our phones, with the same pools of blood flooding across hospital floors, the same balls of fire after yet another Israeli bomb, the same wounded children, hospitals filled with the displaced, the mass graves and corpse after corpse after corpse.

All of this is masterfully interspersed by the amazing eyewitness reporting of some of the remarkable doctors who have repeatedly served in Gaza over the past three years, many of them familiar with Gaza from before 2023. This means they can report about the far from perfect Gaza they once knew to contextualize the horror we witness watching the film. The Gaza that was had already been under a state of siege since 2007.

In many ways, this might be the most important film on Gaza yet: please send especially those who haven’t been watching the endless horror of the past three years to see this film. @babylonberlin @michael_barenboim @rosieplasticsurgeon @nickmaynard.surgeon @dan.rugo @tanya_hajhassan @mozartgreen_art_music_fashion Weitere Termine in Babylon: Do, 5.11. 20:00,
