Betty my love, it's been a year since you gained your heavenly wings, and life for me has not been the same. I think of you every moment of every day. I see your face each time I look at our children, and I feel your spirit in every part of our home. I often reminisce about our life together, and I keep replaying the last few conversations we had and the last moments we shared. I know time heals all wounds but some wounds are so deep that they leave a permanent scar. It has taken everything in me, but somehow I found the strength to get through this year without you, with the help & grace of God and the love and support of our family.
