Bachelors of Arts, Guidance & Counselling- Honours💕

When people talk about their college journey, it’s often a story of struggle—late nights after long shifts, juggling bills, debt, and exhaustion just to make it to graduation. And while those stories deserve immense respect, mine looks a little different.

I was blessed beyond measure. I was able to complete my degree without taking on student debt, and without having to work while in school. That privilege did not come from my own strength alone—it came from my family. Their sacrifices, support, and belief in me made this moment possible long before I ever stepped onto campus.

Because of them, my responsibility was simple, but not small: to show up, to work hard, and to honor the opportunities I was given. I don’t take that lightly. I understand that this kind of support is not guaranteed, and I carry deep gratitude for it.

I want to take a moment to honor two people who mean everything to me. To my late Uncle Winston—your belief in me, even when you’re no longer here, continues to guide me. And to my beautiful Aunty Joy—your love, strength, and constant encouragement carried me through this journey.

“Be your own boss,” they said. They forgot to mention the mandatory fasting until the job is done😂.
