It’s Joel’s birthday so I get the chance to make him a sappy post, bear with me!🐻
It’s hard to believe there was ever a time in my life without Joel, as he is such a vital part of it now and I can’t imagine it any other way. It took us exactly one workout together and we have been inseparable ever since! By looking at Joel you can tell he how passionate he is about the gym and how hard he works. But that can be said about every aspect of his life. He is passionate about serving the Lord, he works hard at school and balances 2 jobs, and he loves me in the most considerate and selfless and nurturing ways. Anything he might be going through, I would hardly ever be able to tell because he still shows up so full of life and never hesitates to make everything better for me, just by being him. I tell him he makes anything “bad” better and anything good even better.
It is a gift from God to be with someone who is full of so much joy and laughter and hope and love. He has to be the most lovable person ever, I am fully convinced!! He is a goofball and no matter what the circumstance is, he’s going to be making a joke (or many jokes😆). I think one of the reasons our relationship works so well is he loves to make me laugh and I love to laugh😝.. Through him I get to see the world through the eyes of someone so endearing and funny and optimistic. His bubbly personality is so infectious and makes me so eager for each day! I love waking up and knowing that Joel is my best friend!!!! He is genuinely the most special person. He is my sunshine🌞 and most of all he is one of the biggest evidences of God’s goodness in my life!!!!
