Last week I got to make my favorite person his favorite animal from the cephalopod family! I had so much fun creating this guy I didn't wanna share and the best part is I made him entirely out of cake with the exception of his gum paste tentacles! 🐙🐙🖤🖤 *Make sure you swipe to see his reaction to his cake, he manages to melt my black ass heart everytime! @fondarificfondant (The only fondant and molding chocolate I use!🙌) #progessphotostocome #youvebeenwarned #octopus #cephalopod #octopuscake #cephalopodcake #cake #seacreature #oceancake #cakeartist #cakesofinstagram #iceonthecakewhenibakeit #flourchild #bakemyday by @desdoescakes

Last weekend I was asked to create an amazingly awesome birthday cake at @sweetesbakeshop with @just_romel_ and when he showed me this design... you know it was all over!! 😝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Took a deep dive with this cake!! Yes! CAKE! The scuba diver's head and body and most of the terrain on the bottom was all cake! This cake was EPIC, not only in size and execution... it had a fish bowl right where my hands are! (You can kind of see the glass.) This cake also had an ocean sound machine hidden in the reef! 🐠🐙🌊 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
**Don't worry social distancing was still in place at this virtual birthday party of 1000 guests!! Definitely will be posting more photos and videos of this beast! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Flew with these cute retro cookies on a plane! Made them for Halloween party and totally forgot to take any videos of them, but did take this photo before I packaged them for the airport.

OBSESSED WITH ALL THE FALL VIBES ON THIS ONE 🤎❤️ by @desdoescakes

I feel like I haven't made a cake with cute fondant little details in quite sometime. This Disney Cars cake was so fun to make, I miss making these styles of cake, no hate to the vintage piping style cakes.

Best compliment to receive about this cake, someone said "that cake is so Lana Del Rey coded" and you know what I totally agree.

I might be biased since I love Lana and it was my bestie who said this.

WHEN YOU RECEIVE PHOTOS OF YOUR CAKE & THEY'RE PERFECTION 🤍🍒

Hope you're not sick of this cake cause I'll be posting it until I make another like it 😝

When they say so much more happens behind the scenes, they're not lying.

I hyper fixated over this cake for months, literally had dreams and nightmares about it. 🤣🤣🤣

5 tiers, massive tiers. 14",12",10",8" & 6". The scalloped tier and the sky details were my personal favorite touches.

This design was an inspiration from the talented @bodega_cakes
own wedding cake!

💘💘💘

Would you consider this vintage or retro?! by @desdoescakes

Had to take the infamous @cakesbylalae "take of photo of me and the cake" photo with this heavily inspired @bodega_cakes cake! 🫶

Also huge shoutout to @kb__weddings for trusting and recommending me with this dream of a cake for her clients! Someone pinch me! 🥹

I'll definitely be flooding my socials with this one, she was literally perfect and I deserve to gas myself up with this one!
