Late to post but Love Trails with this lot was a LOT of fun.

We ran, we slipped and slid, we partied and discoed, we sauna-ed and relaxed in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Great energy all weekend and definitely was a touch different to 2019 version.

Bumped into so lovely old pals and met new ones too!

Shall definitely come again @lovetrailsfestival , maybe I won’t wait 7 years this time.

Mighty Hoopla 2026!

A yearly pilgrimage that I won’t take for granted!

Day 1 - walking in with @kali_carts and friends (not pictured) to giving them a tour - i then headed to the the tent where the CL final would be showing.

I was optimistic that not only Arsenal would get the job done, I’d meet a hot single gay Arsenal fan.

Sadly Arsenal played valiantly but didn’t make it, I also played well but found myself with the most beautiful lesbians and baby-sitting straight men, whose husbands dropped them off whilst they enjoyed hoopla. Near misses on both counts but we shall be back!

I ended up quite “merry” which I’ll blame on the straight guys buying shots but nevertheless, stumbled out the tent to unite with all my pals to watch the marvellous Lily Allen. I enjoyed it so much I broke my cap!

Day 2 - basically a David and Becca photoshoot! Feeling a touch worse for wear there is nothing like cascada to pick you up at 1:30!

Fabulous day partying, acceptance and as ever that feeling of inclusion.

Recently @biminibabes has pointed out the toxic language used about the LGBTQIA+ community conflating us, the community and pride with pedophilia. I won’t allow for this extremist language to go un challenged and to be normalised in British media (GB News or elsewhere) - please use Biminis quick ofcom complaints letter - it takes 2 mins. First real trip to Asia!

Singapore - what a treat, clean, efficient with some local charm. Grateful to be shown around by @kristinjeni and her lovely family! Evans high energy in that humidity!

On to Indonesia and first stop, Kuta Lombok! First day surfing for a while on the baby waves and lovely place to run, make friends and chill beachside!

I climb and at Rinjani I climbed - was a lot of fun with great people travelling for long time or short. We made it to the top and saw the sunrise, dipped in the hot springs and survived camping the cold nights and food - definitely would repeat.

Straight across to Gili T! The PARTY ISLAND - where my best friend became the sea turtle I saw each morning whilst I had my breakfast. A charming island to cycle and run round, watching the lion king on the beach for free or sunset cocktails - side note someone thought I was 23 years old! That was a mini ego boost.

Finally KL - food was a treat, some glorious areas but overall a bit stifling for me. Best part was going to a listening cafe with aircon and listening to Rosalia top to bottom.

Solo travelling - not for the faint hearted but the highs feel higher and purer and I made lots of wonderful friends along the way.

Asia I will definitely be back to explore more! taken in Singapore by @desearle1

@arsenal

22 years.

My great aunt gave me the Arsenal crest (second slide), she and her husband went on dates at Highbury. Growing up I was spoiled by Arsenal’s success. My great aunt and I would always have an extra 5-10mins at the end of phone calls to discuss how Arsenal were playing, the incredible skill of Henry or the choices of Arsene.

In her 90s, as a school project I wrote about Arsene Wenger and managed to get them to send her a signed letter.

Each Christmas I would always get an Arsenal themed gift, whether it was a book of our history, a mug, rarely unless very lucky was it a shirt!

I don’t know why football has this impact on my emotional state or it feels like my victory, but it does.

After arriving alone to Toulouse for my year abroad, I went to an Irish pub in Toulouse and watched us get pummelled 8-2 by Utd and 3 days later, remember being sat on a bench checking transfer news seeing Arteta had been bought and not sure if that’d be enough. That transfer linked him to our club and whilst he was a good player he is a superior manager.

To see what @bukayosaka87 went through for England made me feel more protective of Arsenal and our players! I’m proud for him and academy player overcoming challenges to carry the club on his back whilst Arteta built the right squad. Proud of the club doing it the right way, progress year on year.

Pleased the board backed the manager, pleased the majority of fans backed the players and manager. Yes there will always be stupid fans who think they can do better and success is overnight, but that’s not been the Arsenal way.

I’ve felt like a child again this week. Whilst hoping we also win the Champions league in a week, this season has already been a huge success and time to celebrate.

This victory reminds me of the conversations I’d have had with my great aunt, how proud she’d be.

2nd fastest marathon of my life
Fastest time I’ve done in Valencia (my 4th time)
Big negative splits
Couldn’t quite pick it up as much as I hoped in the end but very happy with that performance! 45s off my PB shows I’m back - now to push on.

Thanks to @andyhobdellahcoaching getting me through the block injury free - gives me a lot of confidence going into next year!

Well done to everyone who ran and particularly @allyyhead and @george_headd who smashed their marathons and their whole family who welcomed me in!

Now time to go home and rest

4th one in Valencia
Let’s see what we’ve got shall we. @andyhobdellahcoaching has got me on the start line healthy and that’s been key

Thanks to @andyhobdellahcoaching for getting me round safely!

Thanks to the best cheerer @emb_lifeontherun and also fantastic for cheers from @callme.air.ron and @thefreshpatternscollective plus seeing @amritpalghatora beforehand and seeing lots of the London groups in the run including @jontyruns was a lot of fun.

It was hot out there and my thoughts go to all the supporters and volunteers giving medical support. I hope everyone is healthy.

Glastonbury 2025

Yet again you deliver. From late nights in Arcadia to morning godfather duties (CBeebies bangers with Sb and Ned), from pop princesses, to Britpop and DnB. It really is a wide mix of a few days and I love it.

Still exhausted but want to do it all over again with the best people. by @desearle1

Pacers 5k!

What a fun night, with great vibes, thanks @peckhampacers for organising and @bfarbr for these fantastic shots!

Yes, this is an ego trip. I haven’t done a 16:XX 5k for nearly 3 years. To get back under 17 was huge but to pace the race how I did, slowly moving up, ticking off the laps and opening up at the end to take the W in the penultimate race of the evening, felt extra special!

Thanks to the pacer who did a great job and thankfully ran an extra lap. Thanks to @andyhobdellahcoaching for pushing me on this silly journey and to @rebeccalhunter @kali_carts and Quoc for coming out to cheer. Also to @_mr_jonny_ for reigniting the friendly rivalry and pushing each other faster!
