For its third installation, Oscillate is proud to present this triple threat of talent, for a night of deep drum and bass.

Expect cutting-edge tunes, dubs and some classics — heavyweight sound, selected by DJs whose individual styles were shaped by a love for lesser-treaded terrain in drum and bass and jungle.

Headlining for the night is:

Deselecta, by now a respected DJ in drum and bass. Cutting her teeth in dark and packed out clubs allowed her to hone her unique style, leaning into halftime and autonomic. She’s played at Rupture, People’s Assembly, Planet Wax, and holds a residency on SWU. Make no mistake, her sets can take you anywhere, through any era and sub genre — no one to miss.

Support from the mighty:

Kazza - whose name should also be familiar - brings his expansive catalogue of lethal jungle and drums, with his own releases on Basics, Ill Groove and Hardcore energy. He also runs Rekonize, a Bristol-based party hosting drum and bass and jungle royalty. His style is a nod to late 90s V and headz, always looking forward though — his set is sure to drag the night into murkier territory.

Stamatios, is Oscillate’s resident DJ. Playing at various clubs around Bristol, it wasn’t long before he found his sound: uneasy tension — with patience and militance behind the decks to set the uncompromising tone of the night. All DJs will have extended sets too, allowing a full exploration of style.

stepping into club season with a fresh perspective after a tough few months, where i’ve spent a lot of time questioning what i’m doing and why. I spoke about how mental illness infected my intuition as a dj during my June swu show, which led me to some really raw conversations with fellow artists about mindset and staying true to yourself. i’ve been working on beats during this time that I am looking forward to sharing, alongside some other announcements including the following dates 🌀

27/08 celebrating the beautiful @vxrgo__ ‘s birthday tonight at her first event !
28/08 @alley_cat_dj is on guest mix duties this month on my @swu.fm show! big beats inbound. i’m on first hour n she’s taking second x
30/08 @slippindnb bank holiday vibes this sunday! feat the crew and the incredible @djflight & @mcchickaboo xx
05/09 looking fwd to returning to MOT! this time with the @ratfacerecords crew - propa keen on the sound they’re pushing.
26/06 @shedrecordsuk are a wicked local crew in bristol and i’ll be playing alongside @dazeeruffneck @agrodnb and crew!
26/06 returning to @intaception this september, closing out after man like Krust!
