magic is real! i had my first big dance job on a pisces lunar eclipse! every morning, i woke up extra early to pinch myself and say my prayers because things like this didn’t happen to people like me. if you knew how fraught my relationship to dance growing up was, and my childhood in general and the ways that abuse and trauma afflicted my sense of self (especially as a dancer), i could’ve never told my smaller self that i would be dancing still, much less managed to have done this kind of job that would take me to prague and put me up in a five-star hotel. it all felt really silly and serendipitous. it was my first real job and i got it on my own after only starting looking for modeling and dance work in february. i was actually initially rejected for it, too, but i reapplied because i believed and that was a lesson in itself. i cried tears of gratitude and awe nearly every day!!! my dream of someone coming to pick me up from the airport with my name on a sign came true. a lot of them did, and are, and it is terrifying, but i’m just really grateful 😁🫣🙂‍↕️💝🕊️🩰 by @desertdagger
