UPDATE: I have the template I can send you that I used to get my pass. It was as simple as forwarding it to my doctor for their signature so DM me if you want it!

I almost didn’t get this pass because I didn’t think I was “disabled enough.”

For years, I struggled to come to terms with my ADHD diagnosis. I felt like a phony. I told myself that because my struggle was “invisible,” I didn’t deserve the same resources as others. When I first heard that ADHD qualifies for the Access Pass, I felt like a fraud even looking into it.

But here’s the truth I had to learn: ADHD is a functional disability that affects how we navigate the world every single day. There is absolutely no shame in using the tools available to help us experience the beauty of this planet. This pass has been a literal gateway to my healing and my favorite adventures 💜🌈

How you can get one too:
The America the Beautiful Access Pass is a free, lifetime pass for US citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities (including ADHD!).
• Where: Pick one up in person at a federal recreation site or apply online (there is a $10 processing fee for mail/online).
• What you need: Documentation of your diagnosis (like a letter from your doctor stating you have a permanent disability that limits a major life activity).
• The Perk: Free entry to 2,000+ federal recreation sites for you and your passengers!
Stop gatekeeping your own joy. You belong in these spaces. 🧡

Badwater Basin only fills with water on average once every TEN YEARS here at Death Valley National Park. With the wildflowers in bloom, and water in the basin, now is the perfect opportunity to find some time to visit if you can 🤩 This also the lowest elevation the USA, being 200 feet below sea level. This is park 3 for me this year, and my 10th overall 🌀

Last month, my friends and went on a girls trip and took an RV to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park where we saw the largest tree in the world, General Sherman 🌲🤩

This was their first time in an RV, and my second! I think being in a camper van is the most ideal scenario when going to a national park so you can sleep in the park and have everything with you whenever you need it. For me, it also makes me feel safer than having to sleep in a tent and the anxiety that comes with that 🏕️

Did you know that your neurodivergence actually has one perk? The National Park Service considers PTSD, ADHD, anxiety and other parts of being neurospicy a disability that qualifies you for an America The Beautiful Pass. This means that you can visit any National Parks (and a lot of state parks!) for FREE FOR LIFE!

the algorithm probably won’t like this one but I got my @lomography lomochrome purple film back and just had to share the coolest things we did for our girls trip to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park!

We drove in from Phoenix, and then picked up our RV in San Diego and stayed on the beach for one night. The sounds of the waves at night, the surfers, and lax atmosphere was just chefs 💋

Next, we trekked on to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park where we got to see the worlds largest tree (General Sherman) and go on some spectacular hikes in each park.

We did this on a Wednesday - Sunday and it was just enough time to get the highlights in, and I’m definitely planning on going back!
