design for @thepwhlofficial ‘s black history month tee celebrating black history but more specifically, the relationship between black women & hockey 🥅

hockey for black women is a sport that is commonly overlooked by everyone, admittedly myself included before this collaboration. when it was brought to me, I wanted to make sure that the design felt like it belonged alongside other representations of black history/culture, and not othered in the way hockey mostly is in the black community.

grateful for the opportunity to be the one to bring this design to life! 🫶🏾

happy black history month 👩🏾‍💻
