Just a simple bolt and threaded collar I modeled to practice creating threads in Solid Edge.

This bolt and collar can also help kids learn about bolts and nuts and how they go together.

If you can print smooth threads (layer size, minimal z seam, etc.), you can actually spin the collar nut freely on the bolt as shown in the video. It can be a form of a fidget toy. I was able to achieve it with one of my filaments but not with another (both PLA but different color/manufacturer). Probably need to dial down the settings for different filaments.

Designed a holder for Expo Markers that use magnets to hold onto a whiteboard. Doesn't entirely stay in place. The weight of the markers and print causes the print to slide down the board. But it can be placed at the bottom of the whiteboard and rest against the whiteboard frame.

Haven't posted in a while so here's a random picture of the Honda stand with one of my motorcycle helmets. The letters were updated with shorter tabs to better hide them when they're inserted into the base. Gives the letters a better flush look at the bottom edge. Stand available in my Etsy shop.

I'm a fan of Formula 1 and Red Bull Racing so I decided to 3D model and 3D print a #Honda stand (engine provider for #RBR and Alpha Tauri). Designed the letters with tabs at the bottom to insert into the base. Happy with the result.

Designed a battery case to hold my gopro batteries on the go. Case holds 3 batteries. I designed the exterior based off the picatinny rails for guns. Maybe I could have gone with less rails on the exterior to be able to see them better. But does the job of holding the batteries. Will plan to add it to the Etsy shop.

Printed a nice hand grip from #Thingiverse for the gopro instead of buying one online. Works good. Also has a hole to attach a lanyard. Also printed using the Tune ->Change Filament option to be able to print the top portion in black. Orange bottom was just from some leftover filament in the bowden tube.

Needed a new wall mount for my Skullcandy Venue headphones. To reduce turnaround time, I revised my current headphones wall mount design to remove the cubby and increased the cutout around the thumbtack holes. This resulted in a print with reduced printing time and material. Might incorporate the cutout into the design I sell on Etsy. It expedites printing and I think it looks better anesthetic wise. I also used command strips instead of thumbtacks to install the wall mount. So far so good.

Just the design evolution of the longboard GoPro mount. Middle design incorporated cut outs to allow the mount to slightly bend to conform to decks with concave. Design to the right was designed to allow even more flexibility of the mount. But compromises the strength of the mount (more prone to cracking if longboard lifted from the mount). Middle design provides a good middle ground (strength vs flexibility). See link in bio for the mount.
