Clean, Creative, and Timeless ✨

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

1909 Craftsman cottage on the edge of Belmont Shore. I like a home to teach quietly: natural materials, softened edges, and a Han Dynasty cosmetic box (220 BC) resting beside everyday objects.

People say the house has ghosts, I just consider them regulars. The sheep shearling chairs make it hard for anyone to leave. 🖤✨

Good rooms aren’t defined by the big pieces, but by what happens around them.

A book stack adds height, a tray creates a boundary, a vessel softens lines, greenery brings movement. Each layer changes how the space is read without adding noise.

I style with calibration, small decisions that control balance and rhythm so the room feels considered rather than filled. ✨⚜️ taken in Laguna Niguel, California by @designbyharper

Echoing the quiet restraint found in Los Angeles’ 1920s Hancock Park estates where architecture leads and decoration follows.

Millwork, proportion, and natural light carry the room long before objects do. When restraint is intentional, the space feels settled the moment you enter.

Honoring the home’s historic character while returning to its fundamentals, then quietly introducing new life.

Design isn’t about spending more, it’s about spending intentionally. 🕯️✨💕

$500 sofa (sale price)
$75 real marble table
$5 thrifted throw

But the piece that defines the room is the $64 candle.

Scent changes a space faster than furniture ever can. Your brain registers atmosphere before it registers objects, which is why hotels and casinos use fragrance to shape behavior and emotion.

This Adriatic Muscatel Sage candle from Flamingo Estate lasted only weeks, but did more for the room than any large purchase.

Good design isn’t expensive.
It’s strategic.

The spaces that stand apart are the ones you FEEL first, where aesthetic and sensory experience work together from the moment you enter to the moment you leave.

Moody corners done right.

Deep green paneling, warm walnut tones, woven texture, and that quiet brass glow overhead. Layered, grounded, and meant to feel collected over time.

A small space, but every detail carries weight. 🌿

A bedroom should feel effortless, layered, balanced, and deeply personal.
If your home isn’t giving you that yet, let’s change it. 🫶🏻✨ taken in Redondo Beach, California by @designbyharper

Soft warmth. Subtle movement. Enduring strength.

Taj Mahal quartzite offers the elegance of marble with the durability required for real life. Its ivory base, layered with gentle taupe and sand veining, creates depth without overpowering a space. The result is refined, organic, and quietly luxurious. taken in Long Beach, California by @designbyharper
