Designed and created these vinyl stickers, experimenting with typography and abstract forms. The first one features a custom-made „N“ with fluid, organic shapes. Each design plays with contrast, blur, and minimalist aesthetics, inspired by techno and ambient visuals. The fusion of digital distortion and analog texture gives them a distinct identity 🤍

Hey everyone 🤍
I’ve taken a bit of time to ease into the new year. I’ve now been self-employed as a graphic designer for two years, and it was time to reflect on my strategy. I have so many interests that I often feel overwhelmed and struggle to get started on something. This is also true in the fields of design and art. I’d love to do everything at once, but I’ve now realized that I need to specialize as Designbysalome to stay in business and generate clients more consistently.
Right now, I’m organizing my interests, my skills, my vision for the future, my finances, and my schedule. What are my goals, and how can I achieve them? I’ll be more active on Instagram again soon, and I’m excited to hear what you think about my specialization!

SELFREFLECTION 🪩

Two years ago, I explored the dual meaning of „reflection“—both as a physical process and as self-contemplation. I designed the typography in Adobe Illustrator, then hand-cut it from black adhesive foil and applied it to a mirrored poster. I’m proud that this design later became part of my collaboration with Casetify and was even printed on a phone case!

As 2024 comes to a close, it’s the perfect time for reflection. What have you learned about yourself this year? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

Here’s a personal concept I created for the album “Gesicht verlieren” by Levin Liam (@levinliam) 🤍

For this design, I worked with the Neue Haas Grotesk typeface and experimented with paragraph formatting and negative space. My goal was to let the typography breathe and create a minimalist yet striking layout.

This is just a passion project with no official connection to the artist. It’s purely an exercise in creativity inspired by the music 🎧🌀

Visual Experiment 🎾

My third series of vinyl stickers starts with a custom letter ‘W’ (Slide 1) and includes masterpieces from my 8-year-old nephew, Wim (Slide 2 – I’m such a proud aunti). The designs in the following slides feature visual experiments with different creative techniques, using the Kilo font by @hvnt.ter and the Mario font by @id.a___, with images sourced from @unsplash, @pexels, @blkmarket, and public.work by @cosmos.
