I 🩷 LA ✨ The FireAid benefit concerts at Kia Forum and Intuit Dome were so much fun and a huge success! I designed this graphic as a personal tribute to all the organizers and the 26 amazing artists who performed to raise money to help rebuild communities that have been devastated by wildfires. FireAid organizers stated that in the days leading up to the concerts they had already raised over $60 million - which has now been far surpassed by more donations during the shows. Billie and Finneas’ closing acoustic set was beautiful and so emotional. I’m not crying... you’re crying! 🩷🙏🏼

Best Bluegrass Album: Tony Trischka - Earl Jam has received a 2025 Grammy nomination! This nomination is for music - not the vinyl package and CD artwork designed in creative collaboration with my dear friend David Gorman and his team at Exceleration Music & Down The Road Records… however, I am so very grateful and honored to be connected to this brilliant release by one of the biggest legends in the genre, and at this level of acknowledgment.

👽 Out Now ✨ FRACTAL ✨ Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Ronit Kirchman. Congratulations Ronit on a wonderful score for a beautiful film! I always feel like great film scores are equally another character within the story… the score is present in dialogue with the characters and reaches even deeper into our visual and emotional experiences of film. I am also very grateful to play a small part in this epic team and to work with Ronit to design the cover artwork for this very special release. Thank you @ronitkirchmanmusic 💙🙏🏼✨

New album artwork ✨ This is a special one ✨ DRUMS OF COMPASSION the long-awaited new album by Michael Shrieve (of Santana) will be released on May 24. Here’s an advance peek at the cover and back cover of the album I designed with Michael, featuring the cover illustration by Bruno Borges (aka, Penabranca). It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work alongside my dear friend Michael to visualize the spirit of this beautifully profound release, including so many heavy hitters in the mix (see back cover).

Special thanks to my new brother Eliot Goldstein during the production to keep us in a herd and on track 🙏🏻

New Artwork + New Music ✨ This is a special one… as a fan of the late master pianist Chick Corea I am honored and grateful to have been called upon to design the artwork for the new live album of Corea performing Mozart and Gershwin with the Orchestra da Camera Della Sardegna in Mogoro, Sardinia. A very special thank you to my dear friend, creative director and design collaborator, Mr. David Gorman of Exceleration Music for this incredible opportunity to join his team on this special project.

About the album:
In November of 2018 Chick Corea - the venerated 27-time Grammy winner and National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master - was honored to join the Orchestra da Camera Della Sardegna in Mogoro, Sardinia, as a special guest artist for the 11th Annual Cultural Festival. This live recording captures a truly special evening that Corea held dear.

Corea had collaborated with orchestras on numerous occasions and held a profound appreciation for classical music. Through his work as a composer and a performer, he sought to bridge the gap between genres, embracing the universality and enduring power of music which communicates something and moves you, whether that was through a jazz medium, a classical medium, or anything in between. This particular evening’s performance turned out to be one that Corea was extremely proud of, and he was eager to officially release the set as an album.

The recording captures the essence of Corea's tireless creative vision, his strong classical sensibilities, and his undeniable genius as a performer and improviser. It stands as a testament to all the musical bases he touched in his career, and his legacy as an artist who could do it all. – Chickcorea.com

From the archives, circa 2011. I designed this custom radial sundial that was laser-etched into a solid brass plate for a functioning rotating dial (in a client’s house). It was one of a series of pieces I designed for a private project – that still to this day – I have no idea of the identity of the end client. CLASSIFIED. Vector-based typography in 360-degree-one-point-perspective… it’s madness in the details and incredibly time-consuming, but the result is quite satisfying ☀️ by @designedbychristo
