Another event design I worked on.

For the International Father’s Dream Summit, the goal was to put a lot of information into one design without making the schedule difficult to follow.

The schedule had multiple days, speakers, services and different time zones, so the hierarchy had to do most of the work.

I used the warm brown and gold background to give it that event/conference feel, while the red typography helps the important information stand out.

I wanted this design to feel like vintage without looking old

This was one of the directions I explored for Vintage Bonnie

The idea was pretty simple let the clothes do most of the talking.

Instead of filling the design with too many elements, I used the shirts around the edges to create the frame and kept the middle clean enough for the information to breathe.

I also played around with two versions of the layout.
Sometimes the smallest change can completely change how a design feels.
Honestly, I think the first version works better.

A few pieces from my work with Santa Bonnie 🎁

The goal wasn't just to make nice-looking posters.

I wanted each design to communicate a different part of what Santa Bonnie offers like gifting, foodstuff delivery, market runs, surprises and getting things to people when they need them.

So instead of using the same visual treatment for everything, I explored different situations and emotions around the service.

→ Some were more playful 🤗

→ Some were more emotional.

→ Some focused directly on the problem the customer has.

→ And some focused on the experience after the problem is solved.

This project reminded me that design becomes more interesting when you stop asking:

"What should this poster look like?"

and start asking:

"What does the audience need to understand?"

This is one habit that's helping me stay consistent.

I don't wait until I feel inspired to create.
Whenever an idea comes to mind, I write it down in my post bank.
Some become carousels. Some become LinkedIn posts. While some stay there until the right time.

This is one of the greatest systems graphic designers can use in order to avoid posting under pressure 📌

Movement and flow guide the eye.

But sometimes...

The goal isn't to guide it

It's to stop it📌

A great designer knows when to break the pattern.

Not for decoration

Not for attention alone.

But to make the right message impossible to ignore.

When a design feels chaotic, I don't start moving elements around.

I start with the layout.

Because once the foundation is clear, every element knows where it belongs.

Life works the same way.

When everything feels important, don't try to carry it all at once.

Find your anchor.

One clear priority.

Everything else will find its place around it.

Clarity isn't found. It's designed💯 by @designedbycsi
