A powerful design language from start to finish. The dna from start to finish is
extremely evident through the signature line. Very similar to penny hardaway, Andre Agassi, and Michael Jordan. Although the zoom vick 5 never made it to retail, it still was a perfect follow up from the 4 and fits right in with its counterparts.

I’ve known these characters for a long time! An Automaton scientist, 6ft,6in Red Ant Drone; along with a molecular viscous hoop prodigy are all part of my dream to bring the BEST ANIMATED HOOP STORY TO THE WORLD: HOOPULOIDS! Converted sketches, turned digital via @newarc.ai and @vizcom_ helped me see the potential of a vision long overdue! Big thanks to fellow designer @aricarmon and my brilliant wife @alenacmorris for helping with the editing for the reel. I’ve told the story to so many of you in person; Now it’s time to “prep the pitch” and bring this world to life!

Back during the Nike days, I’d draw something to challenge myself on what I thought a commercial might be like. WHAT IF: Mike Vick sent Serena Williams his Air Zoom Vick shoe as a gift, she opens the box, looks up, smiles and magically steps onto the football field and gives an electrifying performance as. NFL QB!!! It was all about being an “Agent of C.H.A.N.G.E.”( challenge status quo, hone skills, adapt to change, new opportunities, grow as a person and have emotional intelligence). Both Serena and Mike CHANGED THE GAME. Bless you both. taken in PLC Detroit by @designer_esm

@designer_esm on how @aja22wilson first signature shoe carries the DNA of classic Nike silhouettes. Women’s signature sneakers are starting to get the same depth, storytelling, and heritage as men’s. A big win for representation in sneaker culture.

By HAND. There’s a lot of technical tools out there that help designers reach new creative heights; and I use them all. That said, the satisfaction of sketching and illustration will always be “home” for me. My students at PLC Detroit ask me to “DRAW LIVE” and I get amped! To see them light up means everything! As one student said: “E! What kind of DarkMagic is this!?” Not magic. Persistence. When you come to PLC, I’ll teach you this and MORE. Side note: This was a sketch dedicated to Kobe Bryant. Never got to design for/with him. He reminds us all to push to be better. Keep In mind: YHWH makes the gifts, we have to use them! Enjoy! taken in Rochester Hills, Michigan by @designer_esm

Sometimes you need someone to remind you about impact. Most of the time that individual is E.Scott Morris.

I started to write a story about E and realized that any E Scott tale is a novel/movie at the very least.
