One of our favorite parts of remodeling older homes is finding ways to honor their history while helping them better support modern life.💚For this 1912 Craftsman, our clients needed a home that could comfortably serve their growing family of five without sacrificing the character they loved.This upstairs bathroom was once small and cramped. One of our favorite parts of this living room transformation? We didn’t start from scratch. ✨⁠⁠The homeowners already had a beautiful custom rug they loved, so instead of replacing everything, we used it as the foundation to build a space around — layering in warmth, texture, intentional furnishings, and subtle contrast to make the entire room feel elevated, grounded, and cohesive.⁠⁠Now it feels like the kind of space everyone naturally gathers in. Our latest house build updates for anyone who’s as nosey about these things as I am! We have brick, exterior paint, a (stunning) paver patio, a TON of dirt, garage doors and metal roofing outside!!!! + flooring installed, tile & trim on site and prep work done in the bathrooms 🙌🏼 We’re so excited now seeing the house come along!
