Hi, I’m Mridula! 🫶🏽

Originally from India, currently studying between Sweden and Switzerland and somehow finding my way through life with art, cats and an unreasonable love for biryani. 😂

I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, but I started this little corner of the internet on 9th January 2026. What started as “let’s see where this goes” has turned into one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.

The past 10 months has honestly been a rollercoaster of trying to figure out my art style. I always knew I loved inking, but somewhere along the way, I discovered just how much I love drawing animals. Wildlife especially. 🐘🦌🦅

And apparently… that might be my strongest suit.

Humans, on the other hand?
Let’s not talk about it. 😭

I genuinely have no idea how all those brilliant artists out there draw hands, faces and entire human bodies without questioning their life choices. Meanwhile, I’m over here happily drawing a bird for three hours because feathers make sense to me. 😂

I’m an engineer by training (and honestly, still love it!), but lately, sketching is where I’ve been finding a different kind of fulfilment. Something quiet, personal and completely mine.

So, hello to everyone who’s new here! 🥹
I’m so, so grateful that my little drawings have reached so many of you. Every follow, like, comment, share and kind message means more to me than you probably realise.

I’m still learning. Still experimenting. Still figuring out what my art wants to become.

But I hope I can keep making things that make you stop for a second, smile, feel something and hopefully make you a little proud to be here with me. 🤍

Thank you for being here.

Happy sketching! ✍🏽🖤 by @designsbymridula

Inktober day 9: Ram | जय श्री राम । 🧡

For (@inktober)Inktober’s RAM, I turned to Shri Ram from Indian Mythology, the embodiment of dharma, courage, and righteousness.

After seeing so much love for my Ghatotkacha artwork, I felt inspired to return to Indian mythology once again. Thank you for making that piece so special to me. Your love means more than you know. 🙏🏻
