From Malaysia to the global design stage. 🇲🇾🇨🇳

An invitation to Chengdu, China, to serve as one of the few international judges for a global design competition. An honour I truly treasure, not simply for the recognition, but for what it represents.

When I started Design Seed, the vision was never just about showcasing beautiful homes. It was about elevating, educating and cultivating a deeper appreciation for design — to look beyond aesthetics and recognise the stories, purpose and values behind every space.

Standing among an international panel of designers and industry professionals today feels like a meaningful reminder that we're moving in the right direction.

Perhaps the greatest achievement isn't being recognised on a global stage, but knowing that the vision we started with is gradually reaching beyond our own borders.

A proud moment for me, for Design Seed, and hopefully, a small step forward for the Malaysian design scene.

The journey continues. And there's still so much more to do. 🌱 by @designseedstudio

Bringing Modern Classic back to life in a 100-year-old hotel!

A beautiful transformation where timeless colonial charm meets the understated elegance of Shanghainese influence. But this is no conventional hotel — it reimagines the warmth and familiarity of contemporary city and apartment living, wrapped in a rich heritage setting.

From the carefully curated materials to the thoughtful design touches in every corner, every detail serves a purpose, telling its own story.

A truly magical blend of old-world character and modern-day living. Definitely a must-visit if you're ever in Shanghai! by @designseedstudio

From a blank canvas to a place called home, we believe every home begins with a dream — a vision waiting to take shape.

Through our passion for design and architecture, we turn ideas into reality, crafting homes that go beyond aesthetics to redefine the way we live, feel, and experience life.

This is more than building homes.
This is about building dreams, with purpose.

This is who we are. This is what we do. by @designseedstudio

Stepping into the headquarters of Molteni&C. was more than just a visit — it was an opportunity to witness how decades of stories, vision, and relentless pursuit of excellence unfold into extraordinary craftsmanship.

Behind every silhouette, every material, and every meticulous detail lies a history of innovation, the hands of skilled artisans, and a philosophy that goes far beyond aesthetics. It is a story of time, passion, and an unwavering commitment to creating pieces that transcend generations.

Because true luxury isn’t simply what we see. It’s the legacy, the thought, and the craftsmanship that we may not always see, but can certainly feel.

An inspiring reminder that great design is never created overnight. It is built, refined, and perfected over time.

Molteni&C. — where heritage meets contemporary living, and craftsmanship becomes timeless.

A 6 storey house of Garden! What makes this house special is that it never tries to fight its terrain. Instead, the architects allowed the slope to shape the way the home is experienced, gradually
unfolding on each level, revealing gardens, light and sky.

In this project, designing with the terrain isn't simply about working
with the land. It’s about creating a home that lets a family experience nature, in a
different way, every day.

And thats for design can shape lifestyle.

When the world sees beauty in design, we see LIFE.

Because architecture is never just about what we see. It is about what we feel. The emotions a space evokes, the stories its walls hold, the memories it nurtures, and the lives it transforms.

For the longest time, our understanding of design was shaped by images. Beautiful frames that inspired our imagination, yet often left the soul of a space untold.

That is where Design Seed was born.

A vision to look beyond aesthetics. To look beyond the surface. To capture not just the architecture, but the essence of living within it.

Through our lens, we translate spaces into stories. Through cinematic choreography, we bring together emotion, drama, passion, adrenaline, and the poetry of details — revealing the intentions, philosophies, and human values that give every project its meaning.

Because behind every line is a thought.
Behind every material is a purpose.
Behind every space is a story waiting to be told.

And behind every story is an opportunity to change the way people see, understand, and appreciate design.

We are not here merely to showcase architecture. We are here to redefine how it is experienced.

This is the vision of Design Seed. To elevate the conversation around design, to cultivate a deeper appreciation for architecture, and to bring the often-overlooked values of our industry into the light.

But a vision this ambitious cannot grow alone.

If you believe that design deserves to be seen beyond its beauty, that architecture deserves to be understood beyond its form, and that the stories behind our spaces deserve to be heard — then be part of this journey with us.

Like. Share. Comment. Tell us what you feel.

Every interaction helps us reach someone new. Every share helps us tell another story. Every voice brings us one step closer to making a difference.

Together, let's change the way the world sees design.

This is more than a channel.

This is Design Seed. Where design becomes a feeling, architecture becomes a story, and spaces come alive.
