Was asked for 8 descriptor words to be included in the campaign. Ended with BLACK LIVES MATTER including BLACK TRANS LIVES. More black trans and queer representation in the media. Excited to share that the “ Light Down Low “ short film/music video will be opening for the special screening of Homecoming at the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show @topictureshow this Thursday June 23rd. 📍- Details below ⬇️..Written & Directed by the amazing @ayotsalithaba featuring the incredible @cynnnamon - Very proud of this project and the incredible work we were able to do with this short film. An entire cast and crew of Black and Queer creators and mostly African. Getting to screen right before Homecoming further validates all of the hard we put into this production. Love to everyone who made this beautiful project happen. Music by @arnoldfrancis_ - If you haven’t yet, watch the video and check out the screening, it’s free!..Venue: Fort York National Historic Site Gates at 7PM. Most JOYOUS time spinning for @inkloosivvoiceschoir ‘s Pride 🌈 show for another year. Honestly cannot put into words how incredible this choir is. To mix R&B, Gospel, House and re-imagine it with in this format with a Queer lens is truly beyond. Brough the house DOWN yet again. So much heart, so much talent. Spinning for the @inkloosivvoiceschoir Pride show & After Party this Saturday. Toronto’s first inclusive 🌈Gospel and R&B choir! Got to DJ for last year’s show and when i tell you, this show is a JOY.
