I don’t talk about this often, but I was diagnosed with scoliosis as a kid and had corrective surgery when I was 15. Now, one of my biggest goals is to get my flexibility back—especially in my back.

Pilates has been a huge part of this journey, and I’m curious to see just how much progress I can make over time. Honestly, scoliosis isn’t something that gets talked about enough, so I want to open up the conversation.

They gathered around to see me fail. But time after time, I always prevailed. I’ve been so blessed to have the courage to always stand on 10 and be authentically me, in all spaces, in all realms. The courage and confidence I exude seeps through my pores. And they hate me for it. All I can do is Thank the Highest Power Above for all that rains upon me! Through Genuine Love and Positivity, there is no room for failure nor negativity. 💯

I am grateful. Deeply grateful.

But I still want more.

And I’m learning that wanting more doesn’t always mean I’m ungrateful for what God has already given me.

Maybe I can thank Him for where I am while still believing there’s more He’s calling me to build, become and experience.

I’m grateful for this life.

I’m just not done becoming yet. 🤎

When my children’s dad is with someone who loves and cares for our kids, I’m grateful. ♥️

I trust him as their father, and that includes trusting his judgment about who he brings around them. Another woman being kind to my children doesn’t threaten my place as their mom.

For me, it comes down to this; if my kids feel safe, loved, and welcome, that’s something I can appreciate.

Sometimes teaching independence means letting it take 10x longer than if I just did it myself. 😂

But I want my kids to grow up trusting themselves enough to try, figure things out, and know, “I can do this.” 🤎

People often ask me “How do you coparent so well?”

It’s simply because NOTHING gets in the way of the best interest of my children. Not my pride, ego, emotions, or opinions. I put my kids First above anything and everything. And sometimes that means losing a battle, compromising or understanding that sometimes my way may not be the best way. And it definitely isn’t the ONLY way.

So as long as we both always move in the best interest of our children; everything else is a non-factor.
