Spring has been busy in our house! Jos took on her first lead role in her school play as the Trunchbull in Matilda, started her very first softball season (and even scored her first run!), and is the bat girl for WAHS varsity softball. And we’re not done yet…she still has chorus, hip hop, and dance performances coming up. So proud of all she’s doing! by @desireedj

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I wanted to reflect on life the last 20 years…My 20s were wild, free, and unforgettable.They were filled with late nights, nonstop laughter, traveling, falling in love, and marrying the best man at 29. I lived every single moment. I was young, spontaneous, surrounded by friends, and just soaking up life.Then my 30s changed me in the most beautiful way. I became a mom to Josalyn. Who is somehow now 10. My world became more intentional. My joy became deeper. My priorities became clearer. We still traveled, but it became even sweeter seeing everything through her eyes. We lived through a pandemic (which changed all of us), and I learned I love being home. It’s my favorite place. Just peace.I made a huge career change in my 30s…one I didn’t even know I needed. I loved healthcare, but I wanted more time with my girl. Knowing I only wanted one child, I wanted every minute I could get with her. And somehow along the way, I fell in love with thousands of other people’s kids too. If you know me, you know I love where I work. I treat those kids like they’re mine. I brag on them, love them hard, and give a little tough love when needed. If you are one of those kids, you know I will always love and support you. My husband? The best. But y’all already know that. I could’ve never married a loser. And my friends? The absolute greatest.My 20s were fun.My 30s were meaningful.And my 40s? I have a feeling they’re going to be even better. by @desireedj
