I tried to tell her 😭😂

My girl has been growing her hair out from a pixie, so for the longest she’s been getting closure sew-ins while letting her natural hair grow underneath.

Welllll… she finally decided she wanted to try a leave-out sew-in again for the first time in a year or two. I already knew all that new growth + Houston humidity was NOT about to play nice 😭, so I recommended that she get a smoothing treatment with her install.

She said basically, “I’ll be fine.” 😂

ONE WEEK LATER: “Can we please put a closure on?” 😭😭😭

So instead of taking down a perfectly good sew-in, I tried something I’ve never done before — added a 2x6 closure right over the leave-out area and converted her existing install into a closure sew-in.

And baby… PROBLEM SOLVED. 😮‍💨👏🏽

Moral of the story: when your stylist knows your hair, LISTEN TO HER 😂💜

But I also love that we were able to find a solution without completely starting her install over.
