As most of you know who follow me, I wear quite a few hats. Reader, teacher, and also author! I’m the author of 2 children’s books shown here, “Nala Stands Tall”, and “The Perfect Pumpkin”. Both books are ALWAYS linked in my bio to purchase🎃 🐈‍⬛ 🐾

I am currently working on books #3 and #4! My third book (shockingly no cats included) will be coming out this fall. I’m estimating an October release date. This is a different book for me and is an ode to my local town! “C is for Chelmsford” is an A-Z book featuring local historical and nature locations for each letter in the town of Chelmsford, MA 🦁 Keep an eye out, I’ll be posting more updates as well as a cover reveal soon 🦁

I’m still writing book #4 so not quite sure about when exactly it will be finished. Those of you who self publish, I’m sure you know this all too well 😅

Hope everyone on here has been having a great summer, and has also fit a few books in too 😁

Thanks for following along on this fun journey, this is truly a passion that fills my cup!📖 🫶🏻

Hello bookstagram 👋🏻 📖 Some new followers here so I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Here are some little tidbits about me & this account 📚

▪️I created this account in May 2020 to start documenting the creation of my first children’s book 📖
▪️I LOVE to read (if you couldn’t tell). My favorite genres are mystery and thriller, but I read a variety 📕
▪️I love children’s books, there is something so magical about them. I love finding both classic and new books at bookstores and thrift stores 🛍️
▪️Proud owner of a Little Free Library gifted to me by my husband for my last bday. I obsessively check and stock it 😅
▪️I self published 2 children’s books and am currently working on my 3rd and 4th ✍🏻
▪️I am a Special Ed elementary teacher 👩🏻‍🏫
▪️Cat mom x2 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛
▪️I use this account to share books I’m reading, share picture book finds & recommendations, the process of writing my children’s books, all things bookish, & to share, get inspo, and connect with other #bookstagrammers.

Thanks for following along, hope you stick around 📚✍🏻❤️

August reads!📚

August was filled with some great books, these all kept me turning the page and wanting more 📖

Now that we are in to September it’s time for some cozy fall books and thrillers! Any suggestions 👀

I know, I know, it’s still summer. But who can resist spooky reads? My Marshall’s had an amazing board/picture book selection, and they are really in the #summerween spirit 📖 🎃 👻

Leave it to @marshalls to show me everything I don’t need 😅 Great time to stock up a lil early 😉

Visited Susie’s Stories in Rockport, MA for the first time and it was the cutest little bookshop!! It may be small in size but it was packed with a huge range of books 📚 🐚

Hope everyone had a great weekend 📚 🐚

Looking for books on a budget? How about a $1.25 budget? 💸 📖

I was in my local dollar tree and took a look at the book section. They had a pretty wide range of books from baby-adult, not a lot of options for adult books but for the price can’t beat it. Stores differ, so you may have more luck at your local store!📚

Have you gotten books at Dollar Tree? Let me know! ⬇️

It’s been a very #Elin week! Started watching “The Five Star Weekend” on @peacock , so far loving it! 🏖️

& started reading “The Rumor”, (I read 5 star weekend a few years ago!) 🏖️

Anyone else watching the show? Absolutely love the scenery and all the food 😍

Kristin Hannah has done it again!! Historical fiction is not a genre I typically gravitate towards, but her books are so compelling. “The Four Winds” takes place in Texas during the Dust Bowl Era, and follows main character Elsa as she tries to care for her family during a devastating time. This was a heart breaking story that kept me rooting for Elsa on every page 😭

Highly recommend 🌾 ♥️

Which Kristin Hannah book would you recommend next? So far I’ve read: “The Four Winds”, “The Women” and “The Nightingale”. 📖
