This Black History Month, we’re spotlighting Black creators in our network who are dedicated to telling stories about the beautiful game. Next up is Desron Captures.

Desron is a Caribbean-born freelance photographer from the island of Montserrat, to be exact. Based in southeast London, he’s been passionate about photography for over eight years. He discovered this interest through platforms like Tumblr and Pinterest. He’s also a big football and Arsenal fan.

“In this project, I led and conducted three different photo shoots featuring the same jersey. Iused an all-female cast, including a mother-daughter duo and two young women from the Gen Z generation. My goal was to showcase and represent a fan community that often goes unnoticed but definitely exists.”
