It’s taken some time to craft a succinct yet proper tribute that accurately represents what David Lynch meant to Silencio. When the band began playing in 2011 we felt that we had inadvertantly stepped into a magical situation paying homage to the mastery of David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti. It was both an honor and challenge to bring this work to life for audiences everywhere. David created worlds of dreams and nightmares from the most ordinary of things... and somehow Angelo always effectively scored them. A match made in heaven. With Angelo gone and now the sudden departure of David, the world will forever be a place less beautiful and strange. We offer endless thank you’s for the inspiration and the deepest condolences to family, friends, & fans. But most of all...we honor the legacy of the great David Lynch! See you in the trees…
