Good evening beautiful people, 😉
Just wanted to thank every single one of you that sent me kind messages and your generous donations
The day was amazing, the weather was perfect, there were a few celebrities in attendance and I was able to quickly grab a pic with Ex Nottingham Forest football manager Chris Houghton, had a nice chat with him too before the walk
During the walk I met a lot of people as you do on a 10k stroll round London and heard some amazing and sad stories, but more over inspirational chapters of peoples sheer defiance tackling a life changing condition!, an absolute food for thought day for me!.
So I had nothing to complain about when I completed the walk and prepared for a night shift!...........
The finish was great being met at the finish line by my lovely daughter Ella and her Boyfriend Jono
This has made me eager for another challenge, I think a 10k run is next, Hmmmm!...watch this space, lol!
Again, I want to thank you all for donating, I really appreciate it, the money will be used in supporting patients dealing with the whole process of being diagnosed, screening and research
Lastly, if you know of someone that is unaware of prostrate screening, please get them to go and get tested, it’s a simple blood test, a test that could save their life!🙏🏾
