This past week, I’ve been shown so much love, appreciation, support, and pride, and I’m beyond grateful for every bit of it. I love every single one of you who stood by my side through some of the hardest years of my life. You’re the real ones, and I truly wouldn’t have made it through without you.

As dramatic as it may sound, I mean that with my whole heart. I especially miss my built-in best friend — my aunt. I know she’s in heaven watching over me, shining light into my life every day. She taught me how precious life is and that there’s no time to waste it.

Graduating feels so much bigger than just receiving a diploma. It’s proof of how much life can change when you decide to change your mindset, your habits, and the way you move through life. Since changing my lifestyle, life has been nothing short of amazing, and I’m so proud of the person I’m becoming.

I’ll always be thankful for the people who believed in me, pushed me harder, reminded me of my worth, and encouraged me to be better even when things felt impossible. This accomplishment is for me, but it’s also for everyone who helped me grow along the way.
