To the dance floor that didn’t stop all night ✨

To say this has been one of our favorite weddings would be nothing but the truth. From the moment we met Katie & Eddie, we knew they were our kind of people, and this day was a reflection of exactly that.

An outdoor ceremony by the water, a Cape Cod ocean breeze rolling through, and vows that made everyone reach for their tissues. The kind of evening where everything just falls into place and you find yourself wishing it would never end.
The details were so perfectly them. A raw bar, hot sauce favors, and a dance floor that had absolutely no intention of slowing down. It was picture perfect. 🤍

What Katie & Eddie reminded us is that yes, weddings are important. Timelines are important. Details are important. But what mattered most? They were celebrating their marriage with all of their friends and loved ones around them. The love in that room was something we won’t forget for a long time.

And none of it happens without an incredible vendor team. When everyone shows up for each other, it shows. So much love to every single person who made this day what it was.

✨ This month, Destination Event Co turns three.
They say year three is the year that makes or breaks a business. Half of all small businesses never see it. So when I say this milestone means everything, I mean it with my whole heart. 💙💛

Because running a business is not easy. The blood, sweat, and tears that get poured into it are real. And there have been so many late night conversations of “is this even worth it?”
‼️ Spoiler alert, it absolutely is.

🎞️ We started as date night Photo Booth events. Just a dream, a lot of love, and a deep desire to serve our clients well. Three years later, we have a showroom, a growing team, and services we could not have imagined when we first started. 🌟

🥰 But what we are most proud of is not any of that.
It is the people. The ones who believed in us from the beginning. Who came along for the journey and never stopped supporting the vision. Who trusted us with their most special moments and kept coming back. 🥹

This is for you.

Three years of showing up. Three years of growing. Three years of you.
We are so grateful. And we cannot wait to see what the next three years hold. 🫶🏻

Destination Event Co is truly a full-stop event experience from photo booths and DJ services to audio guest books, and so much more. They have been a trusted name in events for years, and this stunning new space is a reflection of the care, creativity, and passion they bring to every celebration.

A huge thank you to the Northeastern CT Chamber of Commerce, the Putnam Business Association, Mayor Barney Senay, and the many community members, friends, and fellow business owners who came out to show their support and help make this celebration so special.

These two… 🤍

Where do I even begin?

Some couples leave a mark on your heart, and these two are absolutely one of them.

I’ve talked before about how one of the hardest parts of this job is when a wedding comes and goes. Generally speaking, we spend months, and sometimes even years, walking alongside our couples. We celebrate milestones, dream alongside them, navigate the stressful moments, and watch everything slowly come together until one day, it’s time to say goodbye. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, but it’s also one of the hardest.

With Katie & Eddie, we started this journey together back in March of 2025. For well over a year, we got to be a part of this chapter of their lives. Through planning meetings, vendor conversations, timeline revisions, all the little details, lots of texts back and fourth and all the excitement leading up to the big day, they became so much more than just clients.

This one hits a little differently.

Katie & Eddie are truly two of the kindest, most genuine souls, and working with them is something I’ll cherish forever. They welcomed us in, trusted us wholeheartedly, and reminded me exactly why I love what I do.

The best part? I have a feeling this isn’t goodbye. I know we’ll be keeping in touch for years to come, and I genuinely can’t wait to watch all of the incredible adventures ahead for these two. I’ll happily be living through every trip, every milestone, and every new chapter from afar, cheering them on every step of the way. 🤍

To Katie & Eddie, thank you for trusting us with your vision, your biggest moments, and your hearts. Thank you for letting us be a part of a season we’ll never forget. We love you both so much, and while your wedding day may be over, we’ll forever be cheering you on as you write the next chapters of your story together. ✨

Some weddings stay with you long after the music ends.

As wedding vendors, we only get a small glimpse into each couple’s story. We don’t know every chapter that brought them here, but sometimes you don’t need to.

From the moment we met Gracie & Wade, they were calm, grounded, and simply happy to be together. There was no stress, no pretense, just two people excited to marry their best friend. We knew right away we wanted to be part of their day.

People often say couples choose their wedding vendors, but the truth is, we choose our couples too. We look for people who value connection, kindness, and the experience just as much as we do. Gracie & Wade were exactly that.

What made their wedding so special wasn’t just the beautiful venue or the packed dance floor. It was the love that filled every corner of the room. The stories shared, the tears that were shed, the unwavering support from the people who love them most. It was impossible not to feel the weight of everything that led them to this moment. We may never know their whole journey, but one thing was crystal clear. These are two people who were meant to find each other.

Gracie & Wade, thank you for trusting Destination Event Co. with such an important day in your lives. It was an honor to celebrate alongside you. Your family and friends showed up in the most incredible ways, and your wedding is one we’ll carry with us for a long time.
