Created by Colorado artist Peter Evan Costas, the new photography exhibit at Granby’s Train Station was created to celebrate Colorado’s 150th and America’s 250th anniversaries.

Bridging the gap between past and present, his artwork captures the landscapes, rail history, and stories of Granby.

Since the pond is located just steps from the playground, athletic fields, and the Fraser River, it is easy to pack a picnic and make it a fun family afternoon at the park. We love Rocky Mountain National Park too, but don’t miss the incredible fall colors to be found all across Grand County. The Nine Mile Mountain Trail at YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch is a year-round favorite (and despite the name, it’s a very manageable 2.8 miles round trip) that is really showing off right now. This hike is free if you are staying overnight on the property. A membership or day pass is required for day visitors.
