Take a flight and enjoy a pumpkin’s-eye view of the park. The Balloon flies Thursday through Sunday, and rides are $10 for adults; children ride free.

Flights are weather-dependent. Call the Great Park Visitors Center at 949-724-6247 to check the balloon’s operating status before your visit.

Dinner in the middle of a working farm? We were in. 🌾

Harvest Moon at Tanaka Farms brought together local chefs, farmers, and neighbors for an evening of small plates, music, and a live auction under the stars.

We loved watching the chefs at work, trying our way through the seasonal dishes, and seeing everyone gather around the tables as the sun went down.

The evening also supported Solutions for Urban Agriculture’s work to grow and distribute fresh food and connect people with the farms behind it. A feast with purpose, indeed. 💛

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival this Friday, September 25, from 5 to 9:30 p.m., at the Great Park, with an evening of music, dance, cultural traditions, hands-on activities, and delicious food.

🀄 Play a game of mahjong, try your hand at Chinese paper cutting, or stop by our culinary demonstrations to see the artistry behind traditional mooncakes and a Japanese tea ceremony.

Dances from across East and Southeast Asia, including Chinese folk, Korean fan, Vietnamese lion, and Cambodian dances, will bring the Main Stage to life alongside Japanese drumming, Chinese music, and more throughout the evening.

Over in the Palm Court, keep the fun going with Night Market Games and a Mooncake Walk for all ages!
