Started this devotional and it has been blessing me for real. 🤍

It’s been convicting me, stretching me, and making me really sit with myself and God. Just wanted to share a few thoughts because whew… it’s good. Not too much cause I don’t want to give it away, but enough to say it’s definitely been speaking to me.

This one got me because yesterday’s “no” or empty season does not mean God is done. Sometimes we let disappointment talk louder than God, and that’ll have you feeling stuck. But if He said cast again, then there’s still something there.

You’re not disqualified just because it didn’t happen the first time.

Whew this one checked me a little bit 😭 because we be wanting the big thing, the more… and God is like what are you doing with what I already gave you?

The little things matter. The hidden things matter. Being faithful when nobody sees it matters.

This one was sooo good because life will really try to harden you if you let it. Hurt, disappointment, unforgiveness, all of that can have you so guarded that you stop receiving the very thing God is trying to do in you.

I don’t want to be hard. I want to stay soft, healed, and open before God.

You know the phrase “practice what you preach”? Well, baby, it’s time to practice what you PRAY! How can we ask God for peace while still entertaining the very thing disturbing our spirit? How can we pray for healing while still holding on to things that are hurting us physically and spiritually?

At some point, our walk has to line up with our prayer life. If you prayed for peace, protect your peace. If you prayed for healing, stop returning to what wounded you. If you prayed for deliverance, quit reopening doors God helped you close!

Faith without works is dead. It’s time to PRACTICE WHAT YOU PRAY! 🔥🙏🏾

What God Has for Me Is for Me!
If my Father has already spoken it, declared it, and promised it… why am I fighting somebody over something God already said belongs to me?! 🙌🏾

The enemy should NEVER have access to what God has given me!!! Can we be honest today?!? Sometimes WE are the ones handing him the key! Through fear, doubt, comparison, disobedience, and entertaining what God told us to leave alone.

But I declare today: THE ENEMY SHALL HAVE NO ACCESS! No access to my peace. No access to my joy. No access to my purpose. No access to what my Father has promised me!

And another thing… DON’T YOU DARE help the enemy hold you hostage to your past!!!!

Yesterday’s empty net does NOT get to prophesy tomorrow’s catch! You’ve got bigger fish to fry! What happened before does not have the authority to cancel what God is doing NOW.

The Word says, old things have passed away; behold, all things are made new! You are not who you were yesterday. You are not your old mistakes. You are not your worst season. You are who GOD says you are!
And what the enemy meant for evil? GOD turned that thing around for your good!

Stop rehearsing what God already redeemed. God is doing a NEW THING! 🔥

Be careful who you allow to ooze and seep into your spirit until you slowly become somebody God never called you to be.

Everybody connected to you is not assigned to you. Some people are sent to shape you, sharpen you, stretch you, and push you toward purpose. Others will weigh you down with what they have going on until their dysfunction starts be by @destineepadgett
