i don’t usually post online about this side of my life but i am just filled with so much gratitude. two years ago today, i decided to give up my will and control to the care of God my higher power, and join the rooms of AA to start my journey of sobriety. i never thought i would come this far. with the support of my “we” and my higher power, i am proud to say that i am two years sober. it was not easy by any means, it came with a lot of anger, tears, shameful, and all of the other emotions you can describe but it was all worth it. throughout my journey, everyone was shocked that at the age of 22, i am sober. i just knew in my heart if i didn’t stop, i would ruin my life due to disease. just because i am sober does not mean i did not have to deal with struggles that absolutely terrified me. throughout these years, i have dealt with grief, arguments, admitting my faults, and so much more. without the support system that i have worked so hard on to have, i do not think i would have made it through. it still makes me flabbergasted that i get to state that i am 2 years sober at the age of 22. but, i would not want to live my life any other way. if you, a family member, a friend, or anyone struggle with addiction and just want to talk, please dm me. i would love to answer any questions you have. living my life each day, one day at a time. thank you for reading💛 by @destiny.inks

tonight i had to say goodbye to this good boy Diogi. as agonizing as it is losing him, i am just so grateful he is not in any pain anymore. he was loved by many. people come and go, but he was always there. everytime i cried he would lick me and try to make me feel better, even on his last day. he was such a loving and protective dog. he was so protective over my family and i, especially to me. everytime i would even think about leaving the house, he would run around barking in circles because he didn’t want me to go because he couldn’t protect me. now he can protect me forever and always.i know that he is running around heaven right now with billions of orange chuck it balls he could ever dream of, and that grandma is by his side. it almost feels comforting knowing that the first thing he saw as he entered the gateways of heaven is my grandma. i am just so blessed i got to have him for 13 blessed years of my life. diogi, you will forever been in my heart. forever & always my puppy. i will never forget the 13 blessed years that i have spent with you. i may be in pain right now, but knowing that you aren’t in pain anymore makes it feel a whole lot better. cancer sucks and im so glad you aren’t suffering anymore. i love you so much my puppy. “how lucky i am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” by @destiny.inks

today, 7/1/2025 at 11:11 pm heaven has gained an angel. words cannot describe how much i am going to miss you. it all happened so quick, not even a week ago i got to hear your beautiful laugh and see your beautiful smile. thank you for always taking care of me. i am so thankful i got to call you my grandma. not only were you my grandma, but you were like a second mom to me. you are a role model to me and i aspire to at least be a quarter of an ounce like you. you are such a fighter grandma. i hate to have you leave, but i know God is going to take care of you and you will not be in pain anymore and i am just so grateful for that. not only do you get to see God and Jesus, but you get to see your dad, mom, brother, and pap pap. i know i will gain the strength from you from losing you and you will never leave my side. that gives me so much closure. you will always be here for me grandma. you always have been and you will always be. i love you so much grandma and i will never stop missing you. i love you🪽🤍 by @destiny.inks
