I think jagged ambush bugs are so cute, they just sit there so still pretending I can’t see them 😂💛.

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Destiny, and I am an amateur photographer learning macro photography, and an avid science and nature lover. I love discovering life on the smaller scale and learning about it as I go. I bought my first macro lens in 2024, and instantly fell in love with it.

My absolute dream would be making nature/wildlife photography my profession, but for now it’s my favorite hobby ☺️. My main subjects are insects, but I am intrigued by all life. I am also an artist, so I may occasionally post wildlife art.

My goal is for this account to push me to better my photography skills. I also hope to find other accounts that I can learn and gain inspiration from. 🐞

This pair of Oak Timberworm weevils (𝘈𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘴) remind me of vintage coke bottles. Such an interesting shape!

I’ve always loved stick insects. This one here is the Northern Walkingstick (𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘢).

Finding moths like this Laudable Arches moth (𝘓𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘴) on my window is always such a treat. You don’t have to go far to find cool arthropods 💚.
