Today is the public opening of #RMxSFMOMA …a debut curatorial effort by BTS’ leader Kim Namjoon, also known as RM. I was so thankful for an invitation to check out his first art show which honestly was probably one of the most impressive celebrity collections I have ever seen thus far. It’s not pretentious, it’s not trying to prove anything other than showing you there is beauty in the magnificent and the mundane, and sometimes you just like stuff because you like it and there doesn’t need to be a rhyme or reason for it.

It runs until Feb 2027, so I hope a lot of folks get to go up to San Francisco and check it out while they can! taken in San Francisco, California by @destinydreadful

I love a museum exhibit and some history. The Academy Museum has an extremely cool horror labyrinth opening up Sept 26, 2026 - July 25, 2027. The gallery’s production design and borrowed pieces range from psychological, gothic, religious, slasher and more!

They even recaptured some of the creepiest elements of some true childhood terrors of mine, like the opening scene of The Ring and Blair Witch Project. 😭🖤
Check it out if you dare…

More photos from my August trip to Germany (Cologne). I went to some castles, found out they had raccoons as animals in the zoo, even though they be behind my house for free. Ate a German sausage (insert joke here). Got to see some very beautiful views. by @destinydreadful

Did you really go to a BTS concert if you don’t take pictures or video? (The answer is yes because I forgot to do all of that and the very few things I did capture are not in good quality lmao)….

I can’t believe I got to see “Home” & “Mic Drop” performed live! Such a great, great show and wishing the best for those guys as they move forward in the tremendous spotlight. #LADay3 by @destinydreadful

August 2026…

Gorgeous, beautiful Massachusetts! Been wanting to check out the New England colonies for years now… especially because I’m a history nerd.

I finally got to take a vacation & head to Fenway Park in Boston for their Heated Rivalry themed baseball night! As a Dodgers lover, I did betray my theme and my man, Shohei Ohtani, but it was just a convenient one night stand with the Sox, please don’t tell anyone or my dad.

Anyway …

While I was there I did interview author Rachel Reid (you can find it over on @deadline’s website and social media channels). So that was very fun.

Overall, my stay in Boston was too short but I accomplished quite a lot in three days! And experienced really good baseball game that went into a 10th inning! I visited Plymouth where the colonies all began, talked to some old timey reenactment people about life in the 1600s, and I visited the iconic bay front where those American divas threw that British tea into the water. (As the kids say: they maximized their joint colonial slay) ….

A very lush place to be! Obsessed and will absolutely return one day to check out some other famous Massachusetts locales and history markers!

Until then.

Went to the press opening of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art earlier this month. And what a tremendous museum full of various arts from sculpture to pop-culture life-sized models, digital recreations of iconic masterpieces, and lots and lots of comics! I went for three hours and still didn’t get to see every thing they had available. So I WILL be going back.

My one gripe with this place: while extraordinary, there are no placards next to any of the pieces, which, sure that’s whatever. What some of the more culturally sensitive art pieces should have some context next to them to promote learning.

@artforum wrote a great piece about this dilemma on Sept 4, 2026, … look into it if you’re curious!

Anyway! Good shit. And may the forks be with you or whatever that man said that one time in that one movie.

P.S. - it was lowkey cool seeing George Lucas in person, never really though that would happen. He seems like a spicy, honest guy. Respect. ♥️ by @destinydreadful

I’m doing what the kids call a “photo dump” … this will be the first of three.

I didn’t get to take many picture of my time in Cologne, Germany at gamescom since I was running around trying to check out everything (and to be present in the moment!)

So just wanted to say, thank you to gamescom for letting me come out there and see what you all were really about — especially considering that this is one of the premiere gaming conventions on the globe.

Thank you to Square Enix for letting me check out the new Final Fantasy VII Revelation (and letting me interview Hamaguchi + get his autograph), and thank you to the devs over at Saw: Genesis, Hellraiser (thanks for tolerating my screams), Dreadline Express and Planted!

Late last month I got to visit the new offices at Square Enix to play Final Fantasy Resonance! It’s been a while since I’ve played a turn-based combat game … literally decades. So, with great trepidation, and love for Square Enix & their PR team I went down and faced my fears. Excellent game! Can’t wait to play more. And anything that has Cloud Strife and Noctis… baby, I’m there. Took some photos with Cloud & Kingdom Hearts (my two childhood favorites! lil Destiny would be go geeked!) by @destinydreadful

❤️Had a blast at Comic-Con 2026.

Got to see some cool shit-talkin’ advertisement posters for House of the Dragon (in theme with the show), a Godzilla Minus Zero train!, Wolverine the Video Game, God of War: Jack Quaid is a Cute Cube edition, Mike Flanagan’s Carrie, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Resident Evil and the MCU announcements!! And so much more that I’m probably forgetting or bound NDA.

Either way, had fun with my co-workin’ girlies.

My 33-year-old back might be in its retirement era, but we’ll see if the ol’ girl makes it to 34.
