Well... that was one hell of a year.
I came to New York thinking I’d be here for a few weeks. Somehow, that turned into more than a year of nonstop work. More sunrises heading into work mode in Brooklyn than nights out actually enjoying the city.
After 30+ years of building parties, festivals, artists, and venues, I thought I’d pretty much seen it all. Then New York reminded me there’s always another chapter waiting, and always another lesson to learn.
It wasn’t always easy, but I wouldn’t trade it. This city, and this business, challenged me, humbled me, inspired me, and somehow made me fall in love with both all over again.
Los Angeles built me. New York tested me. I’m grateful for both. The icing on the cake was I got to share my daughters first year at NYU together.
Next time I come back, I hope it’s with a little less stress, a lot more time to enjoy this incredible city, and maybe a few Sunrise Sermon DJ sets.

Words can not describe this last FriendShip.
Thank you for believing in me and my vision.
You guys always trust me and I was finally able to deliver on the scale that I have always wanted to.
Being on the island watching the sunrise with All My Friends was magical.
This may have been my favorite event I have ever produced. Much love and gratitude to my team, all the amazing artists, and most important my beloved ship family. You are truly amazing and inspire me to do what I do. Until the next one.
