Next Sunday (October 18) I’ll be tabling at The Portland Zine Symposium (@pdx_zines). The event is two days but I’m just there on Sunday. Here are some of the zines I’m bringing. #zinefairs #portlandzinesymposium taken in Smith Memorial Student Union by @dethpsun

I made a Halloween themed mini zine. I got invited to share my zines at a Halloween event in SF so I thought I’d make a zine to hand out to attendees. Will bring them to upcoming zine fairs (Portland Zine Symposium (Sun Oct 18) and LA Zine Fest (Sat Nov 7)) and have them available online, too. #minizines #zines taken in Fort Bragg, California by @dethpsun

Oh hey! I’ll be traveling a bunch soon for events!

Sunday, October 18th, I’ll be in Portland, Oregon tabling at the Portland Zine Symposium. It’s free to attend. It’s a two day event so I’ll just be there on Sunday.

Friday, October 30th, I’ll be in San Francisco selling zines and other goods at a Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at a Halloween event called “The Haunt”. Ticketed Event. It’s multiple days but I’m just working Friday evening. I got hired to share my zines so I’m trying to make some halloween zines to give out to attendees.

Saturday, November 7th, I’ll be in Los Angeles at the LA Zine Fest. Free to Attend. Hoping LA cools down because last November the heat was a bit oppressive.

Saturday, November 14th, I’ll be in Berkeley at the Berkeley Public Library Comic Con. It’s free to attend. Excited to do an event at the library I used to check out stuff from. taken in Fort Bragg, California by @dethpsun

Oh hey! I got new stickers in the shop. I got this long one made. It’s kinda funny. I figure folks can cut it down if they want. Or maybe use it as a bookmark, or whatever.

I have limited quantities of this rainbow finish. The foil ones pretty reflective. I don’t know how I’m going to ship these so I might take them off my shop and just sell them in person.

Here are all the other small lanky stickers that I have available in the shop currently.

Rainbow Foil and super reflective silver foil.

New favorite is these cat friends

Yes, yes. Also very limited quantities on these.

Cat Riding Broom is a crowd favorite

Black and White Vinyl is a staple.

Silver Foil Cat Friends

Skeleton in Ground does well

idk about gold foil. 🤨🤔

The best deal is the 80 pack at $41. I’ve been trying to add more stickers so I can fill a bigger pack at 100 but I keep selling out of designs. So I don’t know if this is too much of a good deal.

But anyway. Yeah buy some stickers. They’re single color but they’ll last forever*

*And by forever I mean 5-7 years in direct sunlight, and through multiple dishwashing cycles. if you want your stickers to last longer on your, maybe wash the surface of car before you apply the sticker. taken in Fort Bragg, California by @dethpsun

New painting drop is in the shop.

It’s drop 105. There are less paintings in these drops because the pieces are slightly bigger.

Uh, i source most of my wood from the scrap wood pile from the local wood furniture school.

It’s been good pickings because I haven’t had to size down wood with a chop saw in a while.

I have sliced so many bits of my left thumb off over the years that my tips can’t feel anything. I sliced my thumb a few weeks ago with a bread knife while trying to a bagel in the dark. Learned my lesson- bagels are bad for you.

Some day I’m going to have yo use the chop saw again. And it’s pretty soon.

Anyway- I’ve been drawing more orange cats lately. The markings I like are the same of one of the cats that I cat sit for.

He’s more of an orange creamsicle cat tbh.

Yes, yes.

Because I haven’t cut my wood in a while I do have to figure out what to paint on these long thin pieces. It’s pretty much sword, snake, spear, wizard staff, oar fish, etc. Tried something new with whatever these guys are.

What i like about painting small is that I can just make a small painting of whatever. It doesn’t really have to make sense.

Here’s a tuxedo cat wearing a handkerchief.

Here are some flowers.

Here’s a moth with a mustache.

Here’s an unfocused photo of a painting.

And yes.

Here’s a mola mola.

Cat in water.

This is painted on premade blocks of wood that got discontinued. I only have 48 left.

I like the ones with the beveled edges. I’m going to miss painting on these. Pine wood is so forgiving. taken in Fort Bragg, California by @dethpsun
