RSD 1,049. Rather you trained or you didn’t, it’s going down this weekend. @freepmarathon. The expo for the free press opens Friday at 1 pm. If you’re running or not you should come down to check everything out especially @werun313 spot. New merchandise for everyone to buy. I was so excited to help set up the booth but remembered I’m not running this year. I’m volunteering Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to all the participants over both days. Once again trust your training. 77.56 MTD taken in Huntington Place by @detroitrunningman

Who’s running in the @freepmarathon Detroit Free Press Races? No matter what race, 1 mile, 5k, 1/2 marathon or the full marathon? Are you ready for this? Don’t be scared or nervous. Trust your training. Now if you made excuses for not training such as it’s too hot, it’s raining, I’m tired today then you may get nervous. taken in Huntington Place by @detroitrunningman

RSD 1,048. Full day of activities. Started with a good round of golf. Ran with my friend @azzaelias while shes getting ready for her 1st 1/2 marathon on Sunday. Then joined @bmrdetroit and @averunnersandwalkers for a @fleetfeetmichigan shake out run. Ran the 5k so I could make it to @detroitthreadsrunningteam for my last 5k of the day. 71.26 MTD by @detroitrunningman

RSD 1,047. Great day to be outside. Decent round of golf but need to clean up some mental errors. Great turnout for @werun313 Two Mile Tuesday. Still working on my pacing. Since I forgot to take my FreePress medals from previous years I took a photo when I got home. Ran every year from 2013-2024 with the exception of 2020 because of COVID. Last year and this year I’ll be volunteering at mile 21 for the international full marathon. 61.31 MTD taken in Breadless by @detroitrunningman

RSD 1,044. Great run with @run_detroit and @detroitthreadsrunningteam . Ten mile route. The first 5 miles I done a negative split to get my knee loosen up from stiffness and the last 5 miles I kept it under an 8 minute pace which is great. I felt like I had more in the tank which felt great. I like the slow starting. 52.50 MTD taken in RUNdetroit by @detroitrunningman

RSD 1,033. Two mile Tuesday where I use it as my speed workout. I really pushed that second mile to set some PR’s for the year. My big sis Dareese came to get her workout on. Weather was great. Wish it could stay like this all year. 159.4 MTD taken in Breadless by @detroitrunningman

RSD 1,031.
Trivium Racing race #5 of 6 for the series. Growler gallop 5k and 10 miler. I chose the 5k and thought we took off after the 10 milers. That's why in the 2nd video I'm recording and heard the announcer say it doesn't matter if you're running the 10 miler or 5k go. I turned my video off and took off. Had to get pass a lot of runners. Once I got in the clear after the 1st mile I settled down and got to my race pace for the last 2.1 miles. Thank goodness it was by chip time for age awards. taken in Atwater Brewery by @detroitrunningman
