I was recently asked by Dettol to test their new range of hard surface cleaner fragrance formulations, so, naturally, I was very curious to see how they translated familiar fragrance profiles into something designed for cleaning the home, especially with up to 50% more fragrance in each formulation

From the fresh, airy yet linen feel of Crisp Cotton, to the luminous zestiness of Sparkling Lemon, the crunchy apple character of Orchard Fresh, the floral-fruity Fresh Cherry Bloom, and the cooling clarity of Eucalyptus Mist, each scent has its own personality.

I tested the range, considered the fragrance compositions and, most importantly, explored how each one actually feels in a space after cleaning. The way each scent is so photorealustic and fills the room while still being a cleaning product is outstanding

Fragrance can completely change the experience of cleaning and I’m always interested in the scent stories behind everyday products.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

AD - People are coming! 🫧So as we know, loving @dettol.uk is a given, but now they have a new Hard Surface Cleaner that’s not only getting those germs but also smells amazing.

I did some scent zoning to mix it up and keep it fun. In the kitchen I used Fresh Cherry, the dining room I used Crisp Cotton and that dreaded downstairs loo I used Sparkling Lemon.

It created a house looking and smelling so clean I couldn’t possibly ruin it by cooking 🙈😂 by @dettol.uk
