He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is an animated television series that originally aired from 2002 to 2004. Produced by Mike Young Productions in association with Mattel, the series serves as a reimagining of the Masters of the Universe franchise, featuring updated character designs, expanded storylines, and a more action-oriented tone. The series follows Prince Adam, who transforms into He-Man to defend the planet Eternia from the forces of Skeletor, alongside characters including Teela, Man-At-Arms, and the Sorceress. Although the series retained many elements of the original 1980s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, it placed greater emphasis on serialized storytelling and the characters’ origins and relationships.
