For years I thought healthy eating meant:

❌ Chicken and broccoli every day.

❌ Never eating pizza.

❌ Starting over every Monday.

The truth?

Healthy eating should fit your life—not take it over.

That’s exactly why I created this guide.

Inside you’ll learn:
✅ How to build balanced meals
✅ Grocery shopping made simple
✅ Protein guidelines that actually make sense
✅ Real-life meal examples
✅ A simple 7-day nutrition kickstart

I spent the last few months putting this together because I wanted to create something I wish I had when I first started learning about nutrition.

If you’d like a free copy, comment “GUIDE” below and I’ll send it to you. 👊🏽 #nutritiontips #healthyhabits #healthyeating #fitnessjourney by @dev_lanier

If I had to lose all my body fat again, I’d ignore 95% of the advice online.

I’d focus on just three things:

🥩 Protein at every meal.

🚶 Walk daily.

🔥 Stay in a calorie deficit.

That’s it.

No detoxes.

No magic supplements.

No “fat-burning” teas.

No complicated meal plans.

People often think fat loss has to be complicated.

In reality, the people who get the best results usually get really good at doing the basics consistently.

Don’t underestimate simple.

Simple, repeated consistently, changes lives.

💾 Save this for the next time social media convinces you that you need to overcomplicate your nutrition.

3 nutrition mistakes I see almost everyone make 👇

Most people don’t need a stricter diet.

They need to stop making the same few mistakes over and over.

The biggest ones I see are:

🥩 1. Not eating enough protein.
Then wondering why you’re hungry an hour later.

🥤 2. Drinking your calories.
Soda, sweet tea, fancy coffees, juice… they add up quicker than most people realize.

📅 3. Thinking one bad meal ruined the whole week.
One meal never made you overweight. One meal won’t ruin your progress either.

The people who get the best results aren’t perfect.

They’re consistent.

Small changes, repeated over time, will always beat extreme diets you can’t stick to.

💾 Save this for the next time nutrition starts feeling overwhelming.

I used to think I needed to burn more calories.

So I’d finish work…

Get on a treadmill.

Sweat for another 30–45 minutes.

Go home exhausted.

And then do it all again.

The crazy part?

I still wasn’t consistent.

Not because I wasn’t working hard.

Because I was trying to follow a plan I couldn’t actually maintain.

Everything changed when I simplified it.

✔️ 3 quality strength workouts each week.

✔️ Enough protein to support my goals.

✔️ A calorie target I could actually stick to.

I stopped trying to burn as many calories as possible…

And started building habits I could repeat week after week.

The best fat-loss plan isn’t the one that burns the most calories.

It’s the one you can actually stick to.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly starting over…

Save this for the next time you think you need to “do more.”

For years, I told myself I’d get serious when life finally slowed down.

After work got easier.

After I had more time.

After things settled down.

They never did.

What changed wasn’t my schedule.

It was my mindset.

I stopped waiting for perfect conditions and built a plan that fit the life I already had.

Fewer workouts.

Simpler nutrition.

Better consistency.

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to start, let this be your reminder:

The right time usually isn’t something you find. It’s something you decide.

Save this if you needed to hear it. by @dev_lanier

Your plan isn’t failing because you’re lazy.

It’s failing because it wasn’t built for your life.

For years I blamed myself every time I missed a workout.

I’d tell myself I’d “start again Monday.”

The problem wasn’t my discipline.

The problem was trying to follow a fitness plan that didn’t fit my schedule.

Once I simplified everything…

• 3 quality workouts a week

• Protein at every meal

• Flexible calorie target

• Progress over perfection

…I finally stopped starting over.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly restarting your fitness journey, save this post.

You don’t need another perfect plan.

You need one that fits your life.

I used to think I just didn’t have enough willpower.

Every night shift I’d tell myself,

“Tonight I’m eating healthy.”

Then 2 or 3 a.m. would come around, I’d grab whatever was quickest, and I’d spend the next day feeling like I’d ruined all my progress.

The truth?

It wasn’t a lack of discipline.

It was trying to follow a nutrition plan that was never built for my schedule.

Once I stopped chasing perfection and started preparing instead, everything changed.

✔️ High-protein meals I could grab quickly.
✔️ A calorie target instead of a rigid meal plan.
✔️ The understanding that one meal never ruined my progress.

The biggest lesson?

Preparation beats willpower every time.

If your work schedule makes healthy eating feel impossible, you’re not the problem.

Your plan is.

One of the biggest mistakes I made was thinking I had to train 6 days a week while working long shifts.

I thought more workouts meant better results.

Instead, I was constantly exhausted, recovering poorly, and wondering why I wasn’t making the progress I expected.

Everything changed when I stopped trying to do more and started focusing on doing what mattered.

✅ 3 quality workouts.
✅ Better recovery.
✅ Better results.

If you’re busy and struggling to balance work, life, and fitness, remember this:

Fitness should fit your life—not take it over.
