This hurts like hell. I still can’t believe it, and probably never will. It’s only been a week, and there are still so many left to go… how do we do this?

You were my favorite roommate (sorry, Chris 💛). I remember just yapping on the couch after work, inviting anyone over just for fun, and going on random adventures to find food.

You genuinely loved your people. You hated trivia, weren’t really into karaoke, and definitely weren’t a big Disney guy. And yet, there you were every Tuesday for trivia. In the room on the tambourine at karaoke. And you spent TWO birthdays at Disney. You did it because you wanted to be with us. With your friends. With your people.

Nothing was ever too serious. Even when the morning shift was a disaster and I left the store in shambles, you made sure to let me know it was all good, and you’d high five me on my way out. You were just the best. You showed up for us all and loved us in a million little ways.

I’ll miss you forever, Buckles.

My best and most beautiful high school memories came from band. Even after graduation, I kept chasing that sense of fun and belonging, surrounding myself with people who gave me the space to love both myself and music.

Mr. Norton wasn’t bright or shiny. At times, he appeared grumpy and harsh. But sometimes the best people are the ones you have to work hard to know. And if he let you know him, you’d find that he was SO funny. He was passionate. He cared about his students. He loved music and history. He gave one HELL of a speech. And he loved to teach.

Mr. Norton you will be missed by all. Thank you for helping me become the person I am today. A proud band geek! by @devancredible

What a year! It truly kicked our butts in the best and worst ways 😮‍💨 Took a bunch of little trips and two big trips (who wants to go to Japan with me this year I need to go again), adopted the CUTEST pupper, started a cool new side job, spent quality time with lots of family, saw some great concerts and did it all with my favorite person! But I also cried a lot, both of us got pretty bad colds, got to visit the Sydney eye hospital 🤪, sweet Forrest lost his job and we are still figuring out how to manage it all..BUT we survived the year! We found many moments of joy through all the rough stuff and will continue to do so in the new year! 🩷 bye bye 2025! by @devancredible
