POSTS STORIES REELS

if you know me in real life, orrrr maybe you’ve just picked up on it from following me, l’m a high-performing perfectionist 😅

i used to think the “perfect” wellness routine was the goal:

5am wakeups
lemon water
never miss a day
etc etc etc

but that all-or-nothing approach? it’s just sustainable, at least not for me (I have a full-time job, my own business, and God forbid I wanna see my friends once in a while and potato together on my couch)

so now it’s:
drink some water
move a little

miss a day?
start again

still counts. still progress. (I PROMISE) 💛

and honestly, that’s the energy at my women’s wellness retreats too.

no pressure, no perfection. just real life and a reset when you need it (you wanna go nap in the middle of the day? PLEASE DO)

fall off? YEEHAW BABY, get back on 🐎

and I really hope that’s the next trend we start to see because we literally cannot do it all, and that’s just on being human. 💫

(and I’m soo tired of being told to eat more protein, I’m literally just a girl, please let me have a bowl of cereal for dinner once in a while)

They say you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with; are you choosing wisely? ✨

A birthday post that’s a few days late, but worthy of a post. 🫶

So here I am: a little older, definitely wiser, still ridiculous, and fully owning that I’ll forever be doing things ‘for the plot’ 🫢

This year is about doing more of what I love, laughing even louder, loving myself even harder, and continuing to grow into exactly the person I said I would be. ❤️ by @devanrylee

Happy Thanksgiving! 🤎

I’m SO grateful to be able to host women’s wellness retreats, but even more grateful for all the amazing women I’ve met along the way. ✨

So thankful for the connections, the conversations, the laughter, and the community that continues to grow with every retreat. 🫶🏼

I hope every woman I’ve met, whether we stay in touch forever or our paths only cross once, knows that I still think of her, pray for her, and hold the things she’s shared with me close to my heart.

Feeling extra thankful for this community and all the beautiful women who have been a part of it.

Here’s to many more moments like these. 🤎

Huge thank you to:

@lunarosabotanicals: who offers self care essentials for the whole family, intentionally handcrafted with flowers grown on their farm to help you reconnect with and nourish your body. (and my place smells like their candles on a daily basis 🫶🏻)

@soleunderstandingreflexology: this lovely gal for sharing her gift of reflexology with us! 🤎 Thank you for helping us relax and unwind through the art of applying pressure to specific points on the feet. Such a special addition to our retreat!

Part 2: a sneak peak into the Invermere Women’s Wellness Retreat that I hosted, that I simply still cannot get over 🥹

Forever grateful for the incredible brands who so generously spoiled all of the women with beautiful, thoughtful goodies:

@12petalsbotanicalskincare Handcrafted Botanical Skin Care for your handcrafted Canadian natural, clean skincare and body care products. I’m currently using the Rose Petal Lip Butter non-stop 🫣

@notsocraftymamas made my vision come to life and created the cutest bags for the gals 🥹🤍 Such a sweet touch for our wellness retreat and the perfect little goodie for our girlies!

It’s almost been two weeks, and I’m still feeling so grateful after an incredible Women’s Wellness Retreat in beautiful Invermere. 🏔️✨

There’s something so powerful about stepping away from the everyday, slowing down, and creating space to reconnect with yourself and with other amazing women.

From the laughter and deep conversations to the moments of reflection, movement, rest and pure joy, and this retreat was a beautiful reminder of how important it is to pour back into ourselves.

I left with a full heart, a renewed spirit, beautiful memories and so much gratitude for the women who made this experience so special (and a group chat for us to all hang out again SOOOON). 💕✨

Here’s to connection, wellness, friendship and making time for YOU. 🫶🏼

A huge thank you as well to some of the incredible brands who so generously spoiled all of the women with beautiful, thoughtful goodies:

@anandaelixirs for your delicious Shroom Soda.. a concentrated beverage crafted with functional mushrooms and botanicals. Each elixir contains a blend of four powerful mushrooms, and they were the perfect addition to our retreat mocktails!

@wearewildwellness Amanda has such fab handcrafted bath and body products, and were spoiled with the most amazing eucalyptus sugar scrub from her.. the perfect little touch of self-care, that smells good enough to eat! (But don’t, hehe)

I got a reminder about this video yesterday; it was 15 years ago when I filmed this (where had the time gone?!) 🫣

When I posted this on my story yesterday, it and had such funny reactions that I decided it deserved a spot on my feed, and a story attached (I’ll never know why they allowed me to filmed in heels on the elliptical 🤣😭)

Before owning my business of running Women’s Wellness Retreats, dabbling in being a content creator plus my Full-Time job, I was studying Radio & Television Arts in post secondary and taking every side gig opportunity to get experience on camera and some extra cash (ask me about the 1-800 commercial I did, while not knowing it was a 1-800 commercial). 😅

Some people find success overnight, and I think it’s important to share that that’s not what happens for everyone. I don’t have a fancy story, I’ve just worked really, really hard.

No secret to accomplishing what I knew I wanted in life, it was sacrifice, late nights, wondering why we only have 24 hours in a day, and pushing through when everyone else had given up (plus one nervous breakdown, but I’d recommend you skip that part). 👀

It may have taken me a decade and a half, but that version of me in that video would be blown away with who I am today.

And that, is a pretty cool feeling. ✨

I dunno what happens once we leave this earth, but we may only get one life, so just.. chase after those crazy dreams, ok? 🤍

New love language: stays at @skyridgeglamping ✨🏕️

Equal parts cozy, a little extra, and fully convinced I belong here now 💫

Anyone else majorly craving just being in the middle of no where, calming their brain, and dancing under the stars lately?

Cuz.. same. 💛

I was posting content before everyone decided it was cool, and trust me, people were NOT nice about it.

Fast-forward: I’m building a wellness biz (@wellnesswithdevan), traveling, and living the life they once side-eyed.

Moral of the story? If you wouldn’t trade lives with them, their advice doesn’t count. 😉
