Unified.

No competition. No guile. No petty arguments. No gossip about other leaders. No comparison. Just brothers figuring out what’s most efficient for here and now. Just three of the pastors in different areas of Houston focused on winning the city together.

Honoring both of these men.

@quintonmcummings preached brilliantly yesterday. One of the best messages I’ve heard from ANYONE in a long time. Everyone needs to learn about resilience from THIS guy.

@elishajgarcia stewards people and moments like few others on the planet. Thank you for sensitivity to the Holy Spirit beyond the plan and structure. The kind of leadership that makes 2.5 hour services feel too SHORT.

I love yall both . But yall know that already.

God is moving.

THE BRODIE
It’s taken time to fully process this camp. It was special. The pictures look funny but it represents so much more. Culture. It’s our thing here.
A lot of people talk about the right things to say, the gimmicks and hooks to use. Some people even use fear and manipulation to get the result they want. But I’ve learned that culture isn’t built by attractive lures it’s built with trust.
Did you say something and mean it? Did you keep your word? Did you advocate for someone other than yourself in ways that few people may see but many people will feel?
So I’m grateful for the trust to build and have the best camps I think we’ve ever had.
To our leadership, the staff, volunteers and leaders, parents, sponsors, camp staff , STUDENTS both new and old and everyone else, thank you for TRUSTING us in action not just word. Every sacrifice was worth it and I’m prayerful that our culture won’t let that easily be forgotten. Jesus was lifted. Students were introduced or reintroduced to Him. And I believe we did everything we could so that spiritual momentum doesn’t stop at camp… it’s just where it started.

More is coming. The future is bright. by @devantetidwell

Faithfulness isn’t about how you started, it’s about who you’re still following when it gets hard.

Faith isn’t proven at the starting line, it’s proven at the finish. Hebrews 12 calls us to run with endurance, eyes fixed on Jesus, the One who started this work in us and promises to finish it.

“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.” – Hebrews 12:1-2.

It’s hard to put this week into words.

God met us here in ways we’ll never forget. From every worship night to every conversation, every game and every laugh… He was in it all.

We’re leaving reminded that God still changes lives, still speaks and still calls us to live differently.

Camp may be over but what He started here isn’t.

Here’s to living Set Apart ♥️

Dios nos encontró aquí de maneras que nunca vamos a olvidar. Desde cada noche de adoración hasta cada conversación, cada juego y cada risa… Él estuvo en cada momento.
