Google indexing is the process of Google storing information about a page in its index so it can potentially appear in search results. Here's the simple version: πŸ”Ž Crawling: Google discovers and visits a page. πŸ“š Indexing: Google analyzes the page and may add it to its index. πŸ“ˆ Ranking: Google decides where the page may appear for a particular search. These are three different things, and indexing isn't guaranteed for every page.
