Somewhere along the way, film went from the only option, to a creative choice, to a ~whole thing~

The gear conversations. The film stock debates (or full-blown panic when a certain film stock was discontinued #iykyk)

The sense that if you weren’t shooting on a SPECIFIC camera with a SPECIFIC lab with a SPECIFIC aesthetic, you were doing it WRONG.

And a lot of photographers quietly backed away from it. Not because they stopped loving film, but because the bar started feeling impossibly high (and expensive).

Here’s what we actually believe: some photographers want the dreamy medium format look. Some want messy, nostalgic point-and-shoot flash. Some just want to understand why their film never looks the way they imagined.

All of it is valid. All of it is worth exploring.
