30,000 steps + rain + flash yesterday. A lot of failure. A lot of lessons learned. It’s interesting, but very difficult for so many reasons. #rainyphotography #flashstreetphotography #flash #bangkokphotographer taken in Bangkok, Thailand by @developing.tank

This was so much fun to shoot and a great way to start of another year of photography. Huge thanks to @alexmunoz.foto and @griffinalik for the introduction to this festival. #fukuoka #firefestival taken in Fukuoka, Japan by @developing.tank

Beginning of the tattoo project. #streetmoodphotography

If you’ve continued to support me and allowed me to create what I want while I experiment with new formats on YouTube—so I can build a rotation of different types of videos and avoid getting stuck making the same thing over and over until I’m completely sick of it—thank you.

Over the past 48 hours, I’ve received a lot of unsolicited advice from people who have never left a positive comment on any of my videos. But the moment I try to switch things up for my own sanity, put what I’m teaching into practice, and simply enjoy photography and creating, they suddenly show up to tell me it’s garbage and that I need to stick to what I’ve always done.

My nature is to do the opposite of what I’m told, pursue what I truly value, and follow my own path. I’ll make photobook videos again—but I’m not rushing back into it just to appease those types. taken in Bangkok, Thailand by @developing.tank
